This corset was shaped based on someones top surgery scars. It is made with a thick woven green/silver upholstery fabric, with red ruffle fabric on the upper edge. The piece is complete with silver grommets and a white braided tie for the back.

This corset can fit anyone up to a 53 inch waist
I am willing to make it smaller for whoever purchases it!
Artist Statement-
Historically, runway collections have always ended with a ‘wedding’ piece. I love making wedding dresses and enjoyed the challenge of incorporating one into this collection.
Once again I wanted to play with some biblical messages. I created a structured corset edged with red lace to mimic top surgery scars. Specifically in the first stage of healing, when they can be red, angry and fragile.
The drains on this piece are filled with red paint to mimic the blood that is sometimes in the drains. I added deep red and purple flowers into the drain bulbs, cutting them open so the flowers could properly ‘bloom’.
The corset for this collection was inspired by Drew’s scars! He is a trans man living in Florida. You can find him on tiktok @bvnboyy
This was the first piece I designed based on top surgery scars. I found the shape of these scars to be really interesting. I personally haven't seen ones with sharp inner angles before.

These pants walked at NYFW, NHFW and at the largest halloween ball in Maine! They have also spent the last month at the public art installation at the Equality Community Center.
